Guy’s Yoga

Hey guys,

You haven’t jumped on board the yoga trend yet?


Is it because you think you’re not flexible enough, not good at yoga or any other excuse?

No need to worry you are in good hands with our new guy’s only yoga!

Yoga not only benefits strength training, it increases flexibility, decreases work stress, improves mindfulness, aids with muscular recovery and helps with balance, co-ordination and now – according to new research – helps alleviate symptoms of depression, lessening stress and anxiety in the process.

Yoga means union, referring to physical practices which unify your mind, body and spirit. It’s no soft option in the world of exercise either. Nowadays footballers, fitness instructors and “modern men” whose flexibility is much admired by females are all downward dogging.  The trick is to find which of the many disciplines suits you and the right teacher and community.

So, take a deep breath and start here.

Inhale life Horsley Park is happy to announce the addition of a guy’s only yoga.

On Saturday’s at 9:45am the men’s only class is tailored to be flexible in all levels, so don’t worry this is the class for you.

The practice is Hatha yoga which strengthens the physical body, aids in flexibility and refreshes the mind greatly.

You will need: Nothing but yourself, wear your workout gear as if going to the gym. Or go the baggy pants, loose T-shirt option if you would like to tune in your hippy self!

You will get: Relaxing, slow, gradual strengthening exercises and a familiarity with the basic moves and principles of pranayama (breathing), asanas (postures) and dhyana (meditation).

The primary teacher, Peter Deigan is a shining example of how yoga is good for men’s health.  Pete is very happy to share what he has been practicing for over a decade.

With a community vibe just for men this class is exciting news for Inhale Life.

This will run as a 6 week course beginning on 17th February, 2018.  Note this course will run continuously for 6 week blocks catering for ALL groups level.

No matter whether you are new to yoga or have tried yoga, you are in good hands.
