The Power of the Breath with Rachel Zinman and John Weddepohl

Saturday 26 August, 2017 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

$120

“Rachel and John offer a unique combination of yoga taught from the very highest levels of practice and understanding, along with nothing less than an insight into the absolute nature of Self. Rachel brings alive a precise and penetrating knowledge of the spirit, science and subtleties of yoga, while John offers a transformative illumination of Advaita Vedanta, or non-dualistic self knowledge, as available only from one who has spent many years in an ancient teaching lineage. In a world awash with trendy yogas and pseudo-spirituality, Rachel and John offer a priceless immersion into the real deal.”

Join Rachel and John for an insightful workshop exploring the the nature of breath and how asana, pranayama and meditation work together at awakening the energy dormant in the body. Be introduced to the Kriya Yoga techniques as practiced by the ancient Tamil Siddhar tradition. Though ancient, these techniques are very powerful and more relevant today than ever before because they relieve all stress and suffering.

“From Absolute Stillness comes Absolute Power”

The workshop includes:

A flowing vinyasa sequence with Rachel focussing on chest and hip openers to prepare the body to breath deeply and sit comfortably for breathing and meditation

An insightful talk with John on the nature of the breath and instruction in Kriya meditation practices
